One of my dearest customer told to me that she wants something "strawberry" but not too strawberry....for her coming birthday cake..
I said "Whhhhat??"
I can't believe she just said that.
Something "strawberry, but not too strawberry" sound like a cup of coffee without sugar

anyway I was thinking about making the chocolate and strawberry cake so the taste of chocolate may "dilute" the taste of strawberry because the taste of chocolate is very strong.
That' s what it should do.
But., wait a minute....what if the taste of these two thing are not harmonized....at least a little, or at all.....wahh..ha
That' s why I use "Yogurt" to connect the taste of strawberry and chocolate because yogurt has strong flavour of "sweetness" but goes well with chocolate......why??
I don't know.....but thinking about chocolate ice cream with yogurt strawberry.

I use chocolate genoise for the cake., frosting with whipped fresh cream ,yogurt, and strawberry( cut a little )
Put the strawberry sauce on top of the cake, decorate well....
and I decide to make the side of the cake with my favorite way....., the chocolate strip
whoo!!!!!!! it looks good....., and should taste good. I think this is the best way to show my dearest customer how much effort I put in this cake.
Because it 's the combination that I even never think about it before. Anyway...., I'm not sure whether it's just "me" who appreciate my work (Yes, bacause I'm the one who did it, right??)
So I told my customer if she doesn't like it, feel free to complain about it.
the day after her birthday, I got a piece of this cake (that I photograph it here)
and the note, says
" I reserve a piece of this cake for you...., not to complain.....
but to let you know....
what I asked you to make, although it' s complicated....but
You just did it perfectly......... "
55555 sometimes creating some strange things work well like this...........
